Friday was our last session for the first group of Bang Bang Drum School students!

This week we focused on bucket drumming. We used our homemade colourful beaters to experiment with and play different timbres of the bucket.

We also made our beats into visual patterns by dipping the beaters into paint and drumming on paper, creating a long collaborative abstract painting in the process.

At the end, every participant received their very own certificate and Bang Bang sticker!

We really enjoyed putting these workshops together and had so much fun delivering them to the kids on the Cally. Thanks to the We Are Cally Residents Grant, Little Angel Theatre, Crumbles Castle and, of course, our young drummers for making this all happen!
